Tax on all pieces sold to individuals in Kentucky is 6%. There is no tax on customers out of state.

The Alternative Jewelry Shop regularly ships custom creations registered mail via the United States Postal Service. This is a very secure means of transporting valuable items.

Carving a new design in wax starts at $300.00. Wax casting begins at $200. Stone setting charges begin at $20 per stone.

The Alternative Jewelry Shop offers the opportunity for the customer to recycle his or her gold and stones.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 days for a refund - payment minus shipping and other fees. Items which have been worn or altered in any manner cannot be returned. Special orders are nonrefundable. Please make arrangements with us prior to returning any items. Customer is responsible for insurance and shipping on any returns.

Current back log for custom work is approximately twelve weeks. Christmas orders are not accepted after October 1. However, delightful, hand made gift certificates are available anytime for any special occasions.
